Dreaming on a wet day...

Yes I'm back. Back to stalking blogs and dreaming of the future.
As you may have noticed it is wet. Really wet. Of course washing becomes a drag on such a wet day. Washing is piled up and I'm tripping over wet towels, sheets and my husbands VERY DIRTY work clothes! The wetter it is the dirtier he comes home!

So i retreated to my computer and began to dream about an awesome laundry room. The kind of room where you actually 'want' to the the washing. Does this really exist? I think it does. Check these beauties out...

I'm off the the drab, dark corner that I call a laundry! Enjoy your day!

Tonsil Time

The reason I haven't been writing so much is that I've been busy. Miss Belle had ber tonsils and adnoids out last week and it has been crazy! Dealing with cranky kids, staying in hospital (not fun), work, washing, dinners and fun!!

All is good now so I'm trying to post more often than once a month!!!

distracting little Ruby at 6am because she can't eat or drink anything!

Bless her....she has no idea what she's in for!

waiting for the doctor...still all smiles!

post operation she was allowed to eat all the ice blocks she could fit in!

Round two of Bread

The bread fun continued...

I'm thinking of all the money I'd save spent on contacts and glasses.
Do you think this look will catch on?
Harry took a picture of himself..Suprise!!!

The day started like any other. Chaos at breakfast, chaos in the car drive to school, little people who don't want midday naps, chaos again in the car for school pick up and of course the crankys come out at dinner time!  Gotta love being a mum!!!!

Well I decided that come dinner just roll with it!!!
Don't fight it. Be a lover not a hater.

Enjoy and discover what is in front of you.

Kids? I hear you ask? Didn't you just say you had a shocker all day?

Yes. Look past them!

I see bread.

Yes... Bread was on the menu.
Staring at me.
Literally on the chopping board.

How does one enjoy and discover bread whilst children are yelling, fighting, throwing things and demanding dinner?

Let me help you discover the joy of bread and being a kid, wrapped into one experience....

Lesson 101:
First you cut it and discover a hole

then you take a picture from lots of angles.
Hand camera to eldest child.
Pray he doesn't drop it!

then cut more bread to make glasses

work out that the end looks a little like a pig's nose

Take a few crazy shots of us together and get back to making dinner..

Just  a little time out to have some fun.

I believe that is what we all need! We don't need theme parks to amuse us!
Plain old, good fashion fun.

My Mum used to say
"Fun is what you make it"!
Amen Sister!

Hopefully there will be a few more posts coming. I've been so slack and busy! Have an amazing week.
