It is that time!!!

Yes my friends the old blog stalker is coming out in me again!! I have actually missed it! So much so that with the old favourites I've added some more!!
So lets start with The House of Turquoise...

now to my new one..

Yep I feel so happy to browse these pictures. I think secretly (or not so secretly) I want to become an interior designer in my next life!!! hmmm something to dwell on today....

Fathers Day 2012

Happy late Fathers Day to my  wonderful husband! He is such a great Dad to all our children and involves himself in all areas of their lives!
We decided to go to the beach after church for lunch. We enjoyed the sun and taking pictures of each other! What would a trip to the beach be if we didn't end up wet?!

It was a little chilly but it didn't stop my clan!!!

My Little Hero

Now I will have to be honest, letting my 8 year old play football took alot of convincing! He loves it so much and wanted to play. He ws committed to training and did so twice a week! I gave in and he completed his first ever season this week!
I am so happy he has found a sport that he loves and is passionate about! It has changed his attitude and given him a healthy lifestlye. I do pray on my knees before each game for pratection and safety!!! It is a rough game and at times I feel myself holding my breath!
My brother came to a game and took some great shots of him that I would love to post. Just incase you don't know him...he is the blonde one!! lol

I love looking at the determination on his face!!! I just wish he would take on the household chores with as much effort!! lol

He will also love it that a whole blog post was dedicated to him!!!!

Ninja Party

ok so while the rest of the world kick up their heels and enjoy the Saturday night with friends and food, I am getting ready for a very special party.

My little boy turns 5 this week. He has requested a Ninjago party. If you are anywhere near a 5 year old boy, you would understand this is a Lego party!
So here I am beginning to prepare for the 'event'.
Tonight was the Ninja lolly pops.
How did I go?

Photo: Ninja lolly pops check!! Bring on the party next week!! http://instagr.am/p/Od4oveFtHj/

Funny Faces

Sometimes it is just fun to grab a camera and begin to take pictures!! Today we did just that!!! We pulled all the faces that we could and then some!

I love looking back on these pictures and laugh. I posted these on Instagram and I got a couple of comments that said something like..."you guys seem to have lots of fun!". The truth is , WE DO!

I want my kids to remember how much fun we had. I want them to remember me playing, laughing, making mess and encouraging them in all things. I don't want them to remember how busy I was and that they never got time with me. I don't want them to remember the 'perfect' house that was so cold no love lived there.

I continue to tell myself that the washing can wait, the dishes aren't important and if the sheets stay on the bed another week, the sky won't fall in!!! Taking time to enjoy you kids is the most important.

They grow quicker than Usian Bolt!!!! We have kids to enjoy, do life with and love like nothing else !!!! I encourage you to make the most of the time you have with your kids and leave the boring stuff!!!! Washing, cleaning, tidying can wait!!! Sow into your kids and reap the rewards as they grow older!!!

My Husband will kill me for posting this one!!!!!

Goodnight my friends!!!

One Of Those Dayz

Monday is my favourite day. I know that sounds a little bit strange but after a busy weekend I love the quiet routine of a typial Monday. I work part time so I spend alot of my day cooking! I love it!

I usually have the fridge and pantry full after a Coles delivery on the Friday. So all I have to do is browse through my favourite cook books and choose what to cook.

I love to make food I can freeze, desserts and try new recipes!

My little friend having a hot chocolate next to me while I flick through my books.
My coffee table

The messy kitchen after I am finished!

I love that we can stay home and do craft! My side deck looked a little like this!!! And my clothes airer became a temporary dryer for all things creative!!!

So all in all it was a great day kids, cooking and lots of fun!!!!

Does your pantry look like this?

out of protest I really wanted to post a picture of my pantry! I can tell you it looks nothing like this!!! Don't get me wrong I love the thought of a kitchen cupboard that looks this tidy but I do beg of the question...Is this practical?

I can't see old cereal packets, half opened snacks or one can!!!!

This doesn't reflect my kitchen at all but I will continue to post  the rest of the pictures...it can't hurt!!! They make my heart happy!! lol

There are some lovely ideas in this old renovated kitchen.
